About the event
Paul Warford is from Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. He began performing comedy
while attending Acadia University in 2002, and joined the Yuk Yuk's roster in
2008. He has performed at most Yuk Yuk's clubs in the country, and has toured
extensively in the maritime provinces. Paul was selected for the Just For Laughs
Homegrown Competition in 2010, performing in Toronto and Montreal. He has
been featured on CBC's stand-up comedy radio feature CBC LOL (2016). He
won the $3000 grand prize for St. John’s Last Comic Standing, hosted by Boca
Tapas Bar (2019). He was selected to be featured on Just For Laughs’ album
recording, Stand-Up Altantic: Infinity Plus Pizza (2021), which is available on
Spotify.
Paul writes a syndicated column for Downhome Magazine entitled What Odds.
Paul is an original member of the independent horror film collective, GRIND
MIND.
